After a steam clean and inspection, any surface rust is removed and two coats of Hydrate 80 rust barrier system are applied to cure oxidisation at a molecular level and prevent any further corrosion to affected areas.
Trims and wheel arch liners if present are loosened or removed to gain access to areas where water ingress is most likely. Special attention is given to cavities and seams where a coat of the underbody treatment is applied by high pressure aerosol. This is followed by a second coat with a larger aperture gun to achieve an even finish.
